Naked Neck Hen

Behavior and character
The naked neck hen is one of the most friendly breeds and has no fear of humans; it can be ideal, especially if you have children. These ladies are rarely brooders and not homebodies for a penny; they prefer to frolic in the garden, peck at leisure, and play with their friends, human or feathered.

Their favorite activity is foraging. So if you catch her rummaging through the grass looking for insects, that doesn’t mean you aren’t feeding her enough; she likes to support herself.
